From 1st to 7th, just that quick

Hello Everyone,

Well, I can’t say that it has been the best week ever. We have now lost three in a row, two this week. We lost on the road Tuesday and then Saturday at home in overtime. Some would be happy taking the two teams who played for the championship last year to overtime, but not me. These were three games that we should of and could have won. It seems to me we lack discipline and execution.

Tuesday came down to poor free throw shooting and 3 point shooting. We played solid defense holding them under 70 points, but never got anything going offensively. We rarely get fast break points and our guards have been dominating the ball a lot. When we play together we are a very different (GOOD) team. Saturday we had a 16 point lead in the third quarter and we hit the selfish/lazy button. People started looking for there own shots and stopped running the plays. We stopped playing defense giving up close to 15 points on fast break lay-ups for them.

I have been pretty non existent on offense shooting 2-7 from 3 in both games and going to the free throw line only twice. We are defiantly missing the extra pass component that made it so fun to play at Butler and in Sweden. I’m still playing solid D having 3 steals in the two games and close to 5 boards each game while holding my player to barely scoring.

The scary thing it does not get any easier as the next four games are on the road. We have a very strong team that at times have shown we have the ability to go very far in the playoffs, but we defiantly need to fix some things and get tougher as a team or it could get ugly.

We had another American night this time at Kevin’s place. His girlfriend Ariana made some chicken and baked macaroni and cheese, with some veggies and garlic bread. It was a very good meal and we finished it off by playing some X-box.

We leave on Tuesday for our road trip. We play Wednesday in Ostrow then Saturday at Polania. I believe we are staying over in Warsaw on Thursday so that should be nice to see the city, I have heard good things about it.

Until next time! (hopefully more cheery with more stories!!)

This is BC gone for now
